Community Participation

SA Disability Co strives to ensure all NDIS Participants live a happy, healthy and a fulfilling life, and communication participation plays a big part in this. Community Participation plays an essential part in developing skills and ensuring a high quality of life. While SA Disability Co can manage your daily tasks inside the home and day-to-day chores, we also provide a wide range of community participation services as well. Whether it’s a walk in the park, attending a dance class or even going away on a NDIS Field Trip/Camp, SA Disability Co can assist in arranging it.

Daily Tasks

Whether its going to the shops, personal care or general household chores, SA Disability Co has the team of Disability Support Workers to suit you. Regardless of your care level, not only will SA Disability Co provide the right Disability Support Worker for you, you will also receive telephone assistance from our leadership team to help steer you through life’s challenges.

Non-Specialist Disability Accommodation (non-SDA)

SA Disability Co also has a range of non-SDA homes in the community which come with heavily subsidised rent and daily task support and transport options. In most cases, the rent is around 50% of the market rate. Likewise with our other homes, we strive to ensure our NDIS Participants are not only living happily in one of our non-SDA homes but are with other NDIS Participants that are a good match. Our non-SDA homes and gardens are maintained by our in-house team of Maintenance Workers.

Respite

SA Disability Co understands the essential role that respite care plays between NDIS Participants and their loved ones. Whether it’s a day, a night, the weekend or even longer, SA Disability Co has the right accommodation and care to meet this need. Not only will there be care, but our respite homes and gardens are maintained by our in-house team of Maintenance Workers.

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

SA Disability Co recognises that some NDIS Participants require higher levels of around the clock care, and we have a number of homes that offer a SIL program. In these homes, not only do all NDIS Participants receive care, but we also go above and beyond to ensure that the home is a happy and harmonious one, where all of the NDIS Participants become friends and do activities together. Homes and gardens are maintained by our in-house team of Maintenance Workers, which ensures not only comfort, but safety as well.

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

SA Disability Co has a range of SDA homes available, and we have a range of brand-new SDA homes currently under construction as well. All of our SDA homes are new and fully compliant to ensure ease and access for our NDIS Participants. Regardless of your level of mobility, we will have an SDA house that suits your needs and with fellow NDIS Participants that are a good match for you. Our SDA homes and gardens are maintained by our in-house team of Maintenance Workers.

Transport

SA Disability Co has a wide range of fleet vehicles available to get our NDIS Participants around. Whether it’s a special mobility assist vehicle or a standard vehicle, we have the right car for you. All of our vehicles have air conditioning, are under 5 years of age, automatic, serviced and are washed and cleaned weekly. Our Disability Support Workers have a full drivers licence and undertake our in-house driving program as well to ensure your comfort and safety is never compromised.
